At the beginning, sulfur-free wine from dry white varieties is prepared.
A double distillation takes place in a distillation kettle.
From wine to brandy
The outcome of the second distillation is a colorless see-through distillate with a high alcohol content.
The distillate is placed in large 300-liter wooden barrels and slowly aged to turn into brandy.
The brandy gets its dark color and excellent aroma from the tanning agents and lignin dissolved in alcohol.
When aging is completed, the distillate is diluted to reduce the alcohol content.
